Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies in line with company objectives
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve the best possible price and service
  • Monitor and forecast inventory levels to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient procurement processes
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels
  • Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and pricing
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as local laws and regulations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the construction industry
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software
  • Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to procurement
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
