Major Responsibilities & Duties performed:

• Getting feedback from reliever.
• Check availability of manpower in his area planning for shift activity with coordination of shift manager/Superintendent about charge mix, EAF gunning time, electrode change & other furnace related jobs.
• Furnace smooth production & furnace maintenance is the sole responsibility, coordination with scrap yard, LRF, Ladles & maintenance to ensure smooth running of EAF & control unforeseen delays.
• Handover the shift with ensuring that gunning machine is full & in working position.
• All material & consumable are available, Operational spares are in running position.
• Furnace is maintained, Housekeeping is well control & all data sheets are filled properly.
• Detail reporting shift performance in level 3 system.
• Inform concern authority (Manager) of any abnormality during shift or any other job instructed by seniors.
• Having a right to say "NO" to any unsafe work.
