Job Description
Key Accountabilities
- Extracting report/data from EMS Analyzing Reports for performance anomalies/exceptions.
- Performance management for core NEs (MSS, MGW, USN, UGW, PCRF & DPI)
- Capacities management for core NEs (MSS, MGW, USN, UGW, PCRF & DPI)
- Root cause analysis for degradation in KPIs.
- Optimization plans to improve network efficiency.
- Pre and post check for network performance during critical activities.
- Impact analysis during network outages.
- Identifying potential capacity issues.
- Using statistics to forecast the future growth of Network and to identify the congested parts of the network.
- Investigating and escalating performance issues to concern department.
- Producing Performance Special Reports
- Provide recommendations for performance improvement and capacity contingency plans.
- Ability to work in multi-vendor environment.
- Prepare the needed reports whether occasionally or periodically
- Perform periodic network audits
- Understanding of different network protocols from end-to-end perspective
- Ability to create customized KPIs and reports based on probing system
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunication Engineering.
Experience:
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a role in Telecom industry, with involvement in Telecom Services Performance.
- Advanced understanding of all network nodes related to the core network, packet network, DPI.
- Experience on MSS, MGW, USN, UGW, PCRF, HSS, IMS and DPI system and KPIs.
Skills
- Understanding of different network protocols from end-to-end perspective
- Ability to create customized KPIs and reports based on probing system
- Clear understanding of core network including CS, PS, IMS and DPI.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Open approach to solving problems and dealing with new proposals.
- A thorough and methodical approach to work.
- High degree of analytical abilities.
