Your Impact
As a Major Account Manager based in Riyadh, you will be instrumental in building and expanding our presence in Saudi Arabia, primarily focusing on our Cybersecurity portfolio. You will drive proactive campaigns to build a robust pipeline, leveraging your expertise to prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities within public sector and government accounts. Your efforts will help position OpenText as a trusted leader in Enterprise Information Management for government and public sector organizations.

  • Create and drive the sales pipeline within the Saudi public sector and government entities.
  • Strategically position OpenText's cybersecurity solutions by maintaining knowledge of government procurement processes, regulations, and competitors.
  • Expand opportunities within the cybersecurity market, driving growth across key public sector accounts.
  • Develop professional and consultative relationships with government leaders, C-level executives, and IT decision-makers to understand and address their unique business needs.
  • Collaborate with external partners, system integrators, and the channel team to achieve sales targets.
What You Need to Succeed

  • Extensive experience selling cybersecurity solutions within public sector and government accounts in Saudi Arabia.
  • A proven track record of success in selling cybersecurity products in the Saudi market, with experience managing government procurement cycles.
  • A University or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience. Cybersecurity certifications are a plus.
  • Deep understanding of the Saudi public sector landscape, regulatory frameworks, and procurement requirements.
  • Strong account planning, revenue forecasting, and consultative sales skills tailored to government stakeholders.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key government officials and decision-makers to ensure account retention and expansion.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of OpenText products and services, as well as competitor offerings.
  • Experience working with service providers and government-focused partners to drive strategic product sales.
