Key Responsibilities
E-Commerce & Digital Brand Management:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive eCommerce marketing strategy to drive online sales and customer engagement.
- Enhance the GIG Gulf brand’s online presence through compelling storytelling and digital campaigns tailored to the insurance industry.
- Optimize website and digital touchpoints to ensure a seamless customer journey and conversion.
- Leverage data and analytics to improve customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
Media & Performance Marketing:
- Design and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns (search, social, display, programmatic, and affiliate marketing) to maximize digital reach.
- Work closely with media agencies to optimize campaign performance, CPC, CTR, and ROAS.
- Use A/B testing and data-driven insights to enhance campaign effectiveness.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) & Engagement:
- Develop and manage CRM strategies to drive customer engagement, retention, and loyalty.
- Work with cross-functional teams to enhance personalized communication and automation.
- Optimize the use of CRM tools to track and enhance customer interactions.
Market Expertise & Local Adaptation:
- Develop tailored marketing strategies based on in-depth knowledge of the Bahrain, Oman, and Qatar insurance markets.
- Ensure all campaigns resonate with local audiences, including language and cultural nuances.
- Conduct competitive analysis and customer insights research to stay ahead of market trends.
Collaboration & Teamwork:
- Work closely with the broader Digital & Marketing team to align eCommerce initiatives with GIG Gulf’s overall marketing strategy.
- Collaborate with the product, UX, and technology teams to enhance online offerings and user experience.
- Support sales teams with digital lead generation and conversion strategies.
Essential Requirements:
- Industry Expertise: 3-5 years of experience in general insurance, financial services, or a related sector is required.
- Regional Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Bahrain, Oman, and Qatar digital landscapes, including regulatory aspects and consumer behavior.
- E-Commerce & Digital Marketing: Proven experience in eCommerce brand building, digital advertising, and customer acquisition.
- CRM & Data Analytics: Expertise in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent), customer segmentation, and engagement strategies.
- Media & Performance Marketing: Strong grasp of digital media buying, SEO/SEM, paid search, social media, and content marketing.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret campaign data, customer insights, and ROI metrics to drive decision-making.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in marketing execution.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in Arabic and English is required.
- Collaboration: A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance Digital & Marketing team environment.
