• Assist in the preparation and positioning of patients for surgical procedures.
  
• Prepare and maintain a sterile environment in the operating room (OR).
  
• Pass instruments and supplies to the surgical team during operations.
  
• Monitor and assess patients’ vital signs and conditions before, during, and after surgery.
  
• Ensure proper handling and care of surgical instruments and equipment.
  
• Document all surgical procedures, patient responses, and other relevant information.
  
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care instructions to patients and families.
  
• Assist with patient recovery in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU), ensuring safe and effective monitoring.
  
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and the smooth operation of surgical procedures.
  
• Adhere to infection control standards and maintain a clean and safe OR environment.
  
• Participate in surgical team meetings and continuous professional development.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
  
• Minimum of 2 years Nursing experience in a hospital setting
  
• Must be eligible to take the SCFHS exam.
  
• Current license as a professional registered nurse.
  
• Proficient in English
