Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the IT Manager in providing technical support for hotel staff and systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Support the IT Manager in managing Opera PMS, Micros Cloud Simphony, and other hotel management software.
  • Assist with procurement software and HRMS systems, ensuring proper integration and operation.
  • Perform routine system maintenance and upgrades under the guidance of the IT Manager.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, ensuring stable connectivity for all departments.
  • Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers for system updates and issue resolution as directed by the IT Manager.
  • Assist in IT inventory management, procurement, and budgeting.
  • Ensure IT security best practices are followed to align with PCI-DSS compliance.
  • Provide user training for hotel staff on IT systems and software as required by the IT Manager.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in IT support within a hotel environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Opera PMS and Micros Cloud Simphony.
  • Familiarity with procurement software and HRMS systems.
  • Basic networking skills, including troubleshooting LAN/WAN and Wi-Fi issues.
  • Certifications such as CCNA and CompTIA+ CORE 1 are highly desirable.
  • Experience with Marriott or Accor systems and standards is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

Education & Experience:

  • Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.

Additional Skills:

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and IT security practices.
