Job Description

Job Role:

The job holder responsibilities include preparing compensation and benefits packages, application of company policies, maintaining updated employee records; he / she should provide accurate data of all employees related activities and records. the HR officer should have a good understanding of full cycle of all employee relations activities and solid knowledge of human resources procedures and processes.

HR Operations:

  • Administer joining formalities. Ensure new joiners will sign the relevant compliance documents related to onboarding and offboarding.
  • Ensure IT security standards are fulfilled by HR in terms of timely recording of access activation and deactivation.
  • Participate in the training and development plans especially induction orientation of new on-boarders Inform employees about additional benefits they're eligible for. (e.g. leaves, tickets & insurance)
  • Ensure all employee records are maintained and updated with new hire information or changes in employment status, soft and hard forms.
  • Assist in processing monthly payroll as needed and instructed by the Compensation and Benefits team in administration of confirmations, salary updates ...etc.
  • Issue and review certificates & letters
  • Update the System with change of employment status/ benefits/ movements/ certifications/ or any documentation under self-services.
  • Participate in the submittals of documents related to compliance audits HR, IT and Finance audits Scan new joiners against FINSCAN and other screening techniques to pass compliance requirements.

HR Counselling:

  • Explain the various policies, strategies, and benefits to employees.
  • Develop and implement HR policies throughout the organization.
  • Respond to employees' queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.

Employee welfare activities:

  • Assist in employee motivation
  • Foster fruitful communication amidst different teams comprising of multiple nationalities
  • Pay close attention to cultural differences and make sure to avoid raising cultural sensitivities; promote diversity and inclusion
  • Be actively engaged in employee welfare activities in organizing and coordination of corporate events
  • To be engaged in projects where employee can participate in with efficiency
  • To perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of HR or HR Manager

Knowledge, skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or a relevant field. A minimum of 3 years' proven experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of labor legislation and payroll processes.
  • Good understanding of the full employee relations activities and process.
  • Decent and assertive.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Solid problem-solving and team management abilities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Excellent command of the English language, Arabic is a definite plus.
  • Should be a team player and service oriented
  • Highly decisive, empowered and can work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work under pressure.

Job Types: Temporary, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Human Resources: 3 years (Required)
  • Onboarding and Offboarding: 2 years (Preferred)
