Job Purpose:-
Sales Proposals engineer shall be in a position to identify, propose and support opportunities related to systems Projects [ SCADA / DCS / ESD Systems]. The engineer will be located in Bahrain with the responsibility of systems business support across in the assigned territories.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
  • Understand customer requirements and propose winning Techno-Commercial solution.
  • Capable of performing site surveys to understand requirements.
  • Able to carry out Techno-commercial discussions with client.
  • Understand competition solutions and propose right and winning solution.
  • Capable of making Sales Presentations to customers.
  • Identify and bring in new sales leads related to systems Projects [ SCADA / DCS / ESD Systems] opportunities on assigned territory.
Qualification and Experience
  • Bachelor engineering degree (Instrumentation & Control or Electronics & Communication Eng).
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in Sales / Proposals of RTU/PLC, SCADA / ESD / DCS Solutions in Oil & Gas/Process industries.
Competencies
  • The potential candidate has to be self-motivated.
  • Whilst he should have a technical background, he should be very much sales oriented.
  • Positive attitude, willing to learn and flexible.
  • Good analytical skills with strong logical thinking and tactful in approach.
  • Self-starter who is competent to work independently but with minimum supervision.
Skills
  • Excellent Interpersonal skill required.
  • Very Good communication in English.
  • Flexible to work extended hours as per demand of job.
  • 30-40% travel in Middle East & Africa market anticipated.
