Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration and management.
Strong expertise in Active Directory (AD) management, including Group Policies, user authentication, and security best practices.
Proven experience in managing and configuring Cisco network environments (routers, switches, firewalls).
Solid knowledge of Fortinet FortiGate firewalls, including configuration, security policies, and troubleshooting.
Experience leading and managing network teams, including task delegation, mentoring, and performance management.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in critical network situations.
Experience with network monitoring tools and incident response.

Skills:

Technical Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of Cisco networking technologies (CCNA/CCNP preferred).
- Expertise in configuring and maintaining FortiGate firewalls.
- Hands-on experience with SD-WAN solutions for optimizing network performance.
- Strong understanding of Active Directory administration.
- VLAN, VPN, and WAN/LAN infrastructure management.
- Network security best practices, IDS/IPS, and firewall rules.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting network connectivity and performance issues.
- Experience with high-availability (HA) network designs.
- Expertise in fiber optics technologies, fiber switch configurations, and troubleshooting.
Soft Skills:
- Ability to document network architecture and policies.

Tools & Technologies:

Networking:
- Cisco routers and switches (IOS, NX-OS).
- Cisco Firewalls (ASA).
- Fortinet FortiGate firewall management tools.
- VPN solutions and remote access technologies
- Fiber optic network infrastructure and fiber switches
Network Monitoring & Security:
- SolarWinds, PRTG, or similar monitoring tools.
- Forti Analyzer for security log management.
System Administration & Cloud Integration:
- Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy Management
- Microsoft Azure AD and hybrid identity solutions
- Virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
Active Directory & Authentication:
- Windows Server (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO).
- Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) knowledge is a plus.
Other:
- ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira).
- Scripting for automation (PowerShell, Python).
