The Position

We are looking for a talented, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic Software Engineer - Smalltalk who is responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions that meet our clients' needs and drive the success of our company. You will work on various aspects of the software development lifecycle, from review of requirements, to development, QA, and investigation in to bugs found in production.

The chosen individual will work out of the Contour Software Karachi / Lahore / Islamabad resource center office, as an extension of the division-based R&D department.

Job Requirements

• 2+ years of software development experience with Smalltak.
• Strong technical skills and attention to detail, with an excellent knowledge of object-oriented software languages with C#.
• Experience with SQL database
• Excellent debugging and analytical skills
• Ability to implement technical solutions to meet product specifications
• Participate in product design, code reviews, and quality assurance process.
  
  

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of Agile Development Methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and code complex systems
• Ability to pick up on technical things quickly, being able to learn new industry, product, or technical knowledge.
• Good problem-solving skills, using rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions.
• Be self-motivated, counted on to exceed goals and have a consistent drive for the quick and effective results to achieve milestones on the company roadmap.
• Willing to take action to seize new opportunities and ensure excellence in feature implementation
