Deputy Engineer – Large Hotel

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Deputy Engineer to join our team at a large hotel property. This key role combines general engineering responsibilities with project management duties, including renovations and infrastructure upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day engineering operations, ensuring all systems are running smoothly and efficiently.

Preventative maintenance duties to uphold the highest standards of property functionality and safety.

Manage and execute renovation and improvement projects from planning to completion.

Coordinate with external contractors and internal departments to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Provide leadership and support to the engineering team.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of hotel engineering experience in a similar role.

Strong civil engineering background with proven project management expertise.

Hands-on experience with general maintenance, repairs, and building systems.

Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
