The Inventory Controller will be responsible for overseeing the day-to day management of inventory, implementing best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain optimal stock levels. This role demands a proactive and analytical individual with a strong understanding of inventory management processes and a commitment to ensuring product availability for customers.
1. Inventory Management:
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock.

2. Order Fulfilment:
Collaborate with the procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
Monitor order status and address any delays or issues to maintain smooth operations.
3. Forecasting and Planning:
Assist in forecasting demand and planning inventory requirements based on historical data and market trends.
Contribute to the development of inventory planning strategies to optimize stock levels.
4. Stock Rotation and Merchandising:
Implement stock rotation strategies to minimize aging inventory and markdowns.
Collaborate with merchandising teams to ensure optimal product placement and visibility.
5. Documentation and Record Keeping:
Generate regular reports on inventory levels, stock movement, and turnover.

6. Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:
Work closely with procurement, logistics, and store operations teams to align inventory management with overall business objectives.
Communicate effectively to address inventory-related issues and facilitate seamless operations.
7. Quality Control:
Implement quality control measures to identify and address inventory discrepancies promptly.
Collaborate with relevant teams to resolve issues related to damaged or defective stock.
8. Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement within the inventory management system.
Recommend and implement efficiency-enhancing measures.
Total 5 years of experience out of which 3 years should be in a similar role and similar industry. Graduate degree in commerce or business administration/ Post Graduate degree in Business Administration / Diploma in Retail discipline.
