Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager - Taxation will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all direct and indirect tax regulations, handling tax audits, managing tax filings, and supporting tax planning initiatives. The role requires expertise in corporate tax laws, GST, TDS, and international taxation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and accurate filing of Income Tax Returns, GST Returns, and TDS Returns.
• Review tax computations and coordinate with auditors for tax audits.
• Manage transfer pricing documentation and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to tax laws and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in tax planning strategies to optimize tax liabilities.
• Analyze tax implications of business transactions and provide recommendations.
• Keep updated with changes in tax laws and regulations and advise management accordingly.
• Handle income tax, GST, and other tax assessments and notices.
• Prepare responses for tax authorities and support in litigation matters.
• Liaise with tax consultants and legal teams to resolve disputes.
• Work closely with the finance and accounting teams for tax-related matters.
• Prepare and maintain tax records, reports, and reconciliations.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required tax information.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of direct and indirect tax laws.
• Hands-on experience with tax compliance, audits, and litigation.
• Analytical skills for tax planning and impact assessment.
• Proficiency in tax software and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: ACCA/ICMA/MBA (Finance) or relevant qualification in taxation.
• Experience: 4-7 years of experience in taxation, preferably in a corporate or consulting firm.
• Certifications: Additional tax certifications will be an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Rs100,000.00 per month
