We operate at the intersection of climate finance, real assets, and emerging markets, partnering with governments, corporates, and international institutions.We are entering a scale-up phase and are looking for a hands-on, strategic CFO to build and lead our finance function.Role OverviewThe CFO will be a core member of the leadership team, responsible for financial strategy, governance, capital planning, and operational finance across Sequerra Global&rsquo;s businesses and project pipeline.This is not a passive reporting role. The CFO will work closely with the CEO on growth strategy, project economics, capital raising, risk management, and long-term value creation.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Strategy &amp; Leadership<ul><li>Partner with the CEO and Board on long-term financial strategy and growth planning.</li><li>Translate business strategy into clear financial plans, budgets, and KPIs.</li><li>Support decision-making across project development, investments, and partnerships.</li></ul>Financial Planning &amp; Analysis<ul><li>Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management.</li><li>Build and review financial models for carbon credit projects, infrastructure projects, and advisory mandates.</li><li>Provide regular management reporting with clear insights, not just numbers.</li></ul>Capital, Fundraising &amp; Investor Relations<ul><li>Support fundraising efforts (equity, debt, project finance, strategic partnerships).</li><li>Prepare investor materials, financial disclosures, and due-diligence support.</li><li>Manage relationships with investors, banks, and financial partners.</li></ul>Governance, Compliance &amp; Controls<ul><li>Ensure compliance with IFRS and relevant regulatory requirements.</li><li>Establish strong internal controls, financial policies, and audit processes.</li><li>Oversee tax planning, statutory filings, and external audits.</li></ul>Risk Management<ul><li>Identify and manage financial, operational, and project-level risks.</li><li>Oversee FX exposure, liquidity management, and contractual financial risk.</li></ul>Team &amp; Systems<ul><li>Build and lead the finance function (accounting, FP&amp;A, compliance).</li><li>Implement and manage accounting/ERP systems as the company scales.</li><li>Establish reporting standards suitable for institutional partners and governments.</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking ForExperience<ul><li>12+ years of progressive finance experience.</li><li>Prior experience as a CFO, Finance Director, or Head of Finance in a growth-stage company.</li><li>Strong exposure to project-based businesses, infrastructure, energy, ESG, or climate-related sectors is highly preferred.</li><li>Experience with fundraising and investor engagement.</li></ul>Technical Skills<ul><li>Strong command of IFRS and financial governance.</li><li>Advanced financial modelling and scenario analysis skills.</li><li>Experience with audits, compliance, and multi-entity structures.</li></ul>Leadership Profile<ul><li>Strategic thinker with a hands-on mindset.</li><li>Comfortable operating in ambiguity and fast-growing environments.</li><li>High integrity, ownership mentality, and strong communication skills.</li><li>Able to engage confidently with CEOs, boards, investors, and government stakeholders.</li></ul>Why Join Sequerra Global<ul><li>Opportunity to shape the finance function of a high-impact climate company.</li><li>Direct exposure to carbon markets, climate finance, and large-scale projects.</li><li>Work closely with the founder and leadership team on strategy and growth.</li><li>Competitive compensation with performance-linked upside.</li></ul>How to ApplyPlease send your CV and a brief note highlighting relevant experience to careers@sequerra.coJob Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person

Job description:<ul><li>Responsible for accuracy of all system entries.</li><li>Checking accuracy of payment and receipt vouchers.</li><li>Withholding income tax calculations and timely payments to authorities.</li><li>Timely submission of withholding tax statements, and other compliance matters.</li><li>Reconciliations including bank and data received from site.</li><li>Supervision of receivables and payables.</li><li>Monthly letters to customers for recovery.</li></ul>Required Qualification &amp; Experience:<ul><li>Masters in Accounts / Finance related field, part professional qualification will be preferred.</li><li>3 to 5 years experience in Accounts / Finance department.</li><li>Experience in Construction/Real Estate industry will be preferred.</li><li>Must have good command on Microsoft Office suite, especially Microsoft Excel.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From Rs100,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
