The Architect will be responsible for providing architectural expertise to support the promotion, application, and technical implementation of construction materials. The role involves working closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal sales teams to recommend suitable products, prepare technical drawings, and ensure proper usage of company materials in construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
Architectural & Technical Responsibilities
- Provide architectural design support for projects using company construction materials
- Prepare architectural drawings, layouts, and technical details
- Recommend suitable materials based on project requirements and specifications
- Review architectural drawings and suggest value engineering solutions
- Assist clients, consultants, and contractors with technical guidance and product application
- Develop concept designs and presentation materials for clients
Project Coordination
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams
- Conduct site visits to ensure proper application of materials
- Provide technical support during project execution
- Monitor project progress and resolve design-related issues
Business Development Support
- Support sales team in project identification and client meetings
- Conduct product presentations to architects, consultants, and developers
- Build strong relationships with architects, consultants, and builders
- Assist in preparing technical proposals and project specifications
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare technical documentation and architectural specifications
- Ensure designs comply with local building codes and regulations
- Maintain project records and design documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from recognized university
- Registration with PCATP (Preferred)
- 3–7 years of experience in architectural design
- Experience in construction materials, building materials, or construction industry preferred
- Experience working on commercial and residential projects
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and building systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar software
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
