Job Description Summary
As a PMO Analyst you will support the Places team with governance and delivery management processes. You will be working with project teams and external suppliers, supporting and enabling effective delivery of Places-wide Strategic Programmes, to ensure effective adoption of the standards and monitoring delivery. Job Description
GOVERNANCE: Embedding PMO/PCF methodologies, tools and processes to assist effective delivery within cost, quality and timescale objectives. Supporting the embedding of the governance approach for key change projects including risk management, planning, reporting, control effectiveness, resourcing, financial management and organisation.
STANDARDS & COMPLIANCE: Application of governance standards and co-ordination of stage gate deliverables, providing advice, guidance and coaching to our project delivery community on governance best practice and overseeing and reporting on quality assurance measures.
RISK & CONTROLS: Experience with risk management frameworks and control embedding and monitoring.
MEETING GOVERNANCE: support governance meetings, preparing supporting material and tracking outputs and escalations.
CONTINOUS IMPROVEMENT: Support decision making in relation to PMO activities, making recommendations for improvement where appropriate and use insight to recommend and develop new approaches.
DATA & INSIGHT: Production and visualisation of data, information and insight to support the governance and control framework, platform requirements and change framework. Include data quality assurance.
PROGRAMME PLANNING: Provide planning support, including developing programme plans and tracking progress against key milestones.
TOOLS: Excel, PowerPoint and knowledge of MS Project (preferred). JIRA/JIRA Align previous experience would be advantageous.

Strong organisation skills, with proven ability to work independently and efficiently to meet challenging deadlines
Risk Management
Adept at assessing risks effectively and supporting risk mitigation actions and reporting
