Octopus by RTG, is the hiring and outsourcing arm of RTG, working with international partners to grow their team, We have a dynamic engagement opportunities of a 3-month onsite Business Analyst role in Abu Dhabi. This position is a chance for you to immerse yourself fully in a high-impact consultancy environment, working directly with clients to ensure their needs are met efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

The Business Analyst will play a critical role in facilitating communication between stakeholders and the development team during this short-term engagement. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough business analysis to capture and define needs and requirements.
  • Engaging with clients and stakeholders to understand their objectives, challenges, and product needs.
  • Documenting business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows to guide project execution.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to prioritize tasks and features to deliver value quickly.
  • Facilitating workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather insights and feedback.
  • Providing support for testing and validation of solutions to ensure alignment with business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in business analysis or related roles.
  • Ability to work onsite in Abu Dhabi.
  • Strong understanding of business process modeling and requirements gathering techniques.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Proficiency in documentation tools and business analysis software.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing client needs.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and working in scrum teams.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take initiative when needed.
  • Familiarity with the Abu Dhabi market and cultural nuances is an advantage.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Previous experience working in technology consulting environments is beneficial.
