Position Overview:

Turn Up Technologies is seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team at the Karachi Development Centre. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging and high-quality video content for our clients, ranging from promotional videos to social media content and corporate videos. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of storytelling, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and the creative team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit and produce high-quality video content that meets client objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their vision, goals, and requirements for video projects.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop video concepts and storyboards.
  • Manage all aspects of video editing, including cutting footage, adding music, sound effects, and graphics.
  • Ensure videos are optimized for various platforms, including social media, websites, and presentations.
  • Review and revise video content based on client feedback, ensuring timely delivery of final products.
  • Stay updated with the latest video editing software, techniques, and industry trends.
  • Manage and organize video files and project assets efficiently.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of video shoots, including setting up equipment and capturing footage.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio of previous work.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and other relevant tools.
  • Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.
  • Excellent storytelling and creative skills, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
  • Knowledge of motion graphics, color grading, and sound design is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with diverse clients across various industries.
  • Knowledge of the latest trends in video content, especially for social media platforms.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to video production and editing.
