Job Description
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee the sourcing, purchasing, and cost management of materials for our real estate developments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement within a real estate development company and extensive experience in managing contracts and tenders. This role requires close collaboration with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials while maintaining compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost efficiency and ensure timely delivery of materials and services. • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and supplier performance evaluation. • Oversee tendering processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards. • Review, draft, and negotiate contracts with vendors and contractors, ensuring favorable terms and risk mitigation. • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to forecast material requirements and align procurement activities with project timelines. • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors, ensuring quality assurance and cost-effectiveness. • Conduct market analysis to identify new suppliers, cost-saving opportunities, and industry best practices. • Ensure procurement policies and procedures comply with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards. • Monitor and report procurement performance, identifying areas for improvement.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. • Minimum 5-7 years of procurement experience in the real estate development or construction industry. • Proven experience managing contracts and tenders, including negotiations and legal compliance. • Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, contract law, and supplier management. • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. • Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
