Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management:
  • Supervise and mentor staff, including agronomists, extension workers, and support staff.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the center’s initiatives and programs.
  • Program Development:
  • Design and coordinate agricultural training programs and workshops for farmers and community members.
  • Promote sustainable farming practices, pest management, and soil conservation techniques.
  • Technical Support:
  • Provide expert advice on crop management, livestock care, and agricultural technology.
  • Assist farmers in troubleshooting agricultural issues and improving yield.
  • Community Engagement:
  • Foster relationships with local farmers, community organizations, and stakeholders.
  • Organize outreach programs to raise awareness about agricultural best practices.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation:
  • Assess the effectiveness of programs and initiatives, gathering data for reporting and improvement.
  • Prepare reports for stakeholders and funding agencies on center activities and outcomes.
  • Budget and Resource Management:
  • Oversee the budget and financial resources of the center, ensuring efficient use of funds.
  • Manage procurement and distribution of agricultural inputs and resources.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs80,000.00 - Rs100,000.00 per month

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

  • Agriculture Center InCharge: 2 years (Preferred)
