Position: Consultant Ophthalmologist (Arabic Speaker) -Qatar

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist (Arabic Speaker) to join our team at Allocation Assist Middle East in Qatar. Role And Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive consultations and examinations to diagnose and treat eye diseases and disorders
• Use advanced diagnostic equipment and techniques to identify and monitor conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients, taking into consideration their medical history, lifestyle, and individual needs
• Perform surgical procedures such as cataract extraction, laser surgery, and placement of intraocular lenses
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including optometrists, to provide the best possible care for patients
• Keep accurate and detailed patient records, including diagnosis, treatment plans, and progress notes
• Stay updated on the latest developments and advancements in ophthalmology through continuous education and professional development
• Act as a resource for other healthcare providers and staff on ophthalmology-related matters
• Contribute to research and publication in the field of ophthalmology
  
  

Qualifications And Requirements

• Medical degree in Ophthalmology from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Ophthalmology with corneal fellowship
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Consultant Ophthalmologist in a reputable institution
• Strong knowledge of ophthalmic diseases, conditions, and procedures
• Excellent diagnostic skills and ability to develop effective treatment plans
• Proficient in using ophthalmic diagnostic equipment and performing surgical procedures
• Professional demeanor and excellent bedside manner
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a diverse and multicultural environment
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
