Key Responsibilities:
1. Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, including but not limited to SECP Rules & Regulations, Companies Act, NBFC Rules & Regulations, and AML/CFT Act & Regulations.
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
- Provide training on compliance requirements mandated by regulatory authorities.
- Oversee AML, CTF, CDD, and KYC programs and related training initiatives.
- Identify, monitor, and mitigate compliance risks to safeguard operational integrity.
- Prepare and present comprehensive compliance reports.
- Maintain accurate compliance records/documentation to be accessible for regulatory review and ensure timely regulatory filings,
2. Internal Compliance:
- Identify, assess, and address legal and compliance risks associated with business operations.
- Develop strategies to mitigate risks and safeguard the company’s interests.
- Work closely with other departments to address compliance and legal matters effectively.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Conduct training sessions on compliance and legal requirements to promote a culture of adherence and integrity across the organization.
- Maintain and execute the compliance programs of the company as compliance project manager
- Supervise all the business processes that involve compliance and regulations and take timely actions to ensure compliance, both with national/local laws and internal policies of the company
- Carry out investigations to find gaps in the current strategies/processes, which involve compliance and rectify these as per the regulatory guidelines
3. Legal Advisory:
- Provide legal counsel to management on business-related legal matters.
- Analyze and interpret laws, regulations, and policies impacting company operations.
- Monitoring the current policies and systems in place and ensuring that it complies with legal and regulatory guidelines
- Manage legal disputes and represent the company in alternative dispute resolution processes and legal proceedings.
- Coordination with external legal counsel.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
Qualification & Key Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a well reputed university/institution duly recognized by HEC. Candidates with an LL.M or Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and Compliance Certification shall be preferred.
· Minimum 5 years of experience in legal and compliance functions.
- In-depth knowledge of the industry’s standards and regulations

- Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities
- An analytical mind able to “see” the complexities of procedures and regulations
- Exposure to curating, executing and monitoring compliance projects
