Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective distribution strategies to ensure timely and cost-efficient product delivery.
• Analyze market trends and customer demands to adjust distribution plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and procurement teams to align distribution efforts with business goals.
• Manage the movement of goods across distribution channels, ensuring the optimal flow of inventory.
• Oversee the operations of distribution centers, warehouses, and transportation networks.
• Monitor and optimize logistics processes to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Establish and maintain relationships with third-party logistics providers, suppliers, and vendors.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service levels with distributors and suppliers.
• Ensure that vendor performance meets company standards for quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
• Oversee inventory levels and ensure stock availability to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory.
• Monitor and forecast inventory needs to prevent stockouts and reduce waste.
• Coordinate with the warehousing team to optimize storage and handling of products.
• Lead, mentor, and manage distribution staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Conduct performance evaluations and training programs to improve team productivity and skill sets.
• Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability within the distribution department.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery timelines, cost per unit shipped, and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare reports on distribution activities, identifying areas for improvement and proposing solutions.
• Use data-driven insights to optimize processes and make informed decisions.
