The customer is a government entity that manages public affairs and oversees various corporate and philanthropic projects. The company is embarking on a transformative digital journey to enhance its operational efficiency and customer experiences.

The project focuses on digital transformation in the UAE to develop and support digital solutions, enhance social services, strengthen public engagement, advance international relations, and optimize administrative processes.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing comprehensive test strategies for both manual and automated testing.
• Leading and mentoring the QA team, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
• Designing, executing, and maintaining test cases, test plans, and test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Developing and maintaining automated test suites using Selenium, Appium, or other automation tools.
• Performing API testing using tools like Postman or similar frameworks.
• Conducting performance testing using JMeter and analyzing system behavior under load (understanding of how it works).
• Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs, ensuring timely resolution through collaboration with development teams.
• Working closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and refine test scenarios.
• Implementing CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and integrating tests with DevOps workflows.
• Continuously improving QA processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance software quality and efficiency.
• Staying updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in testing.

Must-have:

• Strong experience in both manual and automation testing across web, mobile, and API layers for 4+ years.
• Experience as a Tech Lead for 1+ years.
• Proficiency in automation frameworks like Selenium, Appium, or Cypress.
• Hands-on experience in scripting languages like JavaScript for automation.
• Good understanding of API testing tools like Postman.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into DevOps workflows.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and document defects effectively.
• Experience in database testing and writing SQL queries.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience in performance testing using JMeter.
