Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Project Officer with experience in construction-related purchases. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services for construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for construction projects.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices and terms.
- Ensure materials and services are procured in line with project timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to assess procurement needs.
- Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Handle procurement-related documentation, including purchase orders and contracts.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, specifically in the construction industry.
Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Familiarity with construction materials, vendors, and market trends.
Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
