Job Description: Interior Fit-Out Logistics Coordinator & Manpower Distribution Specialist (with 3 years UAE experience)

Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Interior Fit-Out Logistics Coordinator with a focus on manpower distribution and labor management. This position requires at least 3 years of hands-on experience in the UAE market, where you will be responsible for coordinating logistics, allocating and managing manpower, setting performance targets for laborers, monitoring their progress, and reporting updates to management. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring project deadlines are met, manpower is utilized efficiently, and quality standards are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Logistics Coordination:
  • Oversee the smooth transportation and delivery of interior fit-out materials, ensuring timely delivery to site locations.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and project managers to arrange logistics for materials and equipment.
  • Ensure materials are delivered on schedule and in the correct quantity, and track inventory levels.
  • Implement and maintain proper storage solutions on-site and manage warehouse stock levels.
  • Ensure all logistical activities comply with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Manpower Distribution & Labor Management:
  • Plan and distribute workforce across different tasks based on project requirements and skill sets.
  • Organize and assign daily tasks to laborers, ensuring efficiency and high-quality work.
  • Set clear performance targets and deadlines for workers based on project timelines.
  • Monitor the daily work performance of laborers, ensuring targets are met and quality standards are adhered to.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to evaluate labor productivity, resolve any issues, and ensure safety standards are maintained.
  • Maintain attendance records for laborers and address any absenteeism or staffing issues promptly.
  • Ensure laborers are properly equipped and well-prepared for each task.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Track the performance of laborers and teams, assessing both productivity and quality of work.
  • Regularly update management on manpower status, including performance results, progress against targets, and any challenges encountered.
  • Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, highlighting the achievement of labor targets, areas of improvement, and any delays in manpower allocation or productivity.
  • Provide recommendations to improve workforce efficiency and resolve any performance-related issues.
  • Ensure clear communication of any labor or project-related issues to upper management, providing suggestions for improvements or adjustments.
  • Target Setting and Motivation:
  • Set achievable yet challenging daily, weekly, and monthly targets for the workforce.
  • Motivate workers to meet set targets by ensuring clear communication and providing necessary resources.
  • Implement strategies to enhance worker productivity and morale, addressing any performance gaps proactively.
  • Address performance issues by offering constructive feedback and working closely with workers to resolve challenges.
  • Health, Safety, and Compliance:
  • Ensure that all workers adhere to safety protocols and that the site is compliant with local regulations.
  • Conduct safety briefings for laborers to ensure they understand workplace safety requirements and risks.
  • Monitor the adherence to safety standards, ensuring all workers are equipped with the necessary safety gear and tools.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws, including working hours, wages, and conditions.
  • Site Coordination and Communication:
  • Act as the main point of contact for manpower-related issues on site and between the site and the office.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and contractors to align logistics, manpower deployment, and overall project goals.
  • Provide real-time feedback to management regarding labor performance and material requirements.
  • Ensure effective communication between all teams involved in the project to avoid delays and improve workflow efficiency.
  • Problem Solving:
  • Identify and resolve issues related to labor inefficiencies, absenteeism, and performance challenges.
  • Troubleshoot logistical delays, worker conflicts, or unforeseen site conditions that may impact progress.
  • Proactively suggest solutions to ensure the project stays on track in terms of labor management and logistics.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in managing a diverse workforce and setting performance goals.
  • Knowledge of the local UAE labor laws, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide workers effectively.
  • Good problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and other project management tools.
  • Languages: Fluent in English & Hindi
  • Work Ethic: Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work effectively under pressure.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to track and monitor performance and logistics with a high degree of accuracy.
