Metropolitan Warehouse & Delivery Corp is looking for Line Haul Analyst

Timings: 5 PM - 2 AM
Location: Phase 4 Bahria Town, Islamabad
Salary: 65,000 - 75,000

Education and Experience:
· Masters / Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration ( Supply Chain )
· 1-3 years of experience in Transportation and Logistics

Required Skills/Abilities:
· Must have excellent verbal and written English skills.
· Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.

. Familiarity with transportation management systems and data analysis tools

Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis:

Analyze transportation data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

Monitor and track line haul costs, shipment volumes, transit times, and other relevant metrics.

• Optimization:

Develop and implement strategies to optimize line haul routes and schedules.

Identify opportunities to reduce transportation costs while maintaining service levels.

• Carrier Management:

Evaluate carrier performance and assess their compliance with service agreements.

Collaborate with carriers to address issues, negotiate rates, and secure capacity.

• Route Planning:

Plan efficient line haul routes considering factors such as distance, traffic, and load capacity.

Ensure that routes are cost-effective and adhere to relevant regulations.

• Reporting:

Prepare regular reports and presentations on line haul operations, performance, and cost savings.

Communicate findings and recommendations to management and relevant stakeholders.

• Compliance:

Stay up-to-date with transportation regulations and industry standards.

Ensure that line haul operations comply with all relevant legal requirements.

Technology Utilization:

Use transportation management systems (TMS) and other software tools to streamline line haul operations and data analysis.

A Line Haul Analyst plays a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the transportation and logistics operations, contributing to the overall success of the organization. This role requires a combination of data analysis, strategic planning, and strong communication skills to manage and optimize line haul operations effectively.
