Job Title: Joinery Draughtsman (Interior Design Industry Experience Required)

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Joinery Draughtsman with a strong background in the interior design industry to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be proficient in creating detailed joinery drawings, cutting lists, and providing all necessary information to the production team. This role requires a strong eye for detail, excellent technical drawing skills, and the ability to collaborate closely with designers and production teams to bring bespoke joinery projects to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Detailed Drawings: Create precise and comprehensive joinery drawings for bespoke interiors, including cabinetry, doors, windows, and other custom woodwork.
• Prepare Cutting Lists: Develop accurate cutting lists based on detailed drawings to ensure materials are efficiently used and orders are processed accurately.
• Coordinate with Production Team: Provide production teams with all the necessary drawings, cutting lists, and specifications, ensuring smooth communication throughout the manufacturing process.
• Collaborate with Interior Designers: Work closely with interior designers and architects to ensure joinery designs align with the overall interior concept and meet client specifications.
• Revise and Update Plans: Implement changes to designs, drawings, and cutting lists as needed, based on feedback from project managers or the production team.
• Material Specifications: Assist in specifying the appropriate materials for joinery, considering both aesthetic and functional needs.
• Ensure Quality Standards: Ensure all joinery designs comply with industry standards, building regulations, and project requirements.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Joinery Draughtsman, with specific experience in the interior design industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, etc.) and other design software.
• Strong knowledge of joinery techniques, materials, and the production process in the context of interior design.
• Ability to create detailed cutting lists and accurate material specifications.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with design teams and production staff.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
• A good understanding of industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements in joinery.

Qualifications:

• A degree or diploma in architectural drafting, interior design, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in the interior design or joinery industry.
• Knowledge of both traditional and modern joinery techniques is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED7,500.00 per month
