Job Description:

First Mile Freight Coordinator ( Trucking / Dispatching )

The First Mile Freight Coordinator is responsible for managing and overseeing the initial stages of the freight process. The primary role involves pulling orders from the system, identifying those registered and requiring pickup, and coordinating with vendors to ensure timely and efficient pickups. The position focuses on maintaining accuracy, minimizing delays, and ensuring seamless communication between stakeholders.

Order Processing: Pull and process registered orders that require vendor pickups. Scheduling & Coordination: Schedule pickups with vendors and optimize routes for efficiency. Communication: Provide timely updates to internal teams and resolve pickup-related issues. Tracking & Reporting: Monitor order statuses, track progress, and generate daily reports.

Key Responsibilities (In details):

2. Order Management:

Pull orders from the system that are registered and need to be picked up. Verify order details, including pickup locations, quantities, and timelines. Monitor and update order statuses in the system.

3. Vendor Coordination:

Schedule and confirm pickups with vendors based on order requirements. Communicate any schedule changes or adjustments with vendors.

Ensure vendors comply with pickup schedules and documentation requirements.

4. Logistics Planning:

Plan and organize routes to optimize pickup schedules.

Work with carriers to arrange transportation and resolve scheduling conflicts. Track and report any delays, issues, or exceptions during pickups.

5. Communication and Reporting:

Provide regular updates to internal teams regarding pickup statuses and any issues.

Maintain accurate logs and records for all pickups and vendor interactions.

Prepare daily or weekly reports for management on pickup performance and pending

orders.

6. Problem-Solving:

Address and resolve pickup-related issues, including vendor delays or order discrepancie Collaborate with internal departments to resolve escalations.

Ensure clear and timely communication with all parties involved.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in supply chain or Related field
• More than 1 year of experience in Freight Operations
• Location is Bharia phase 4
• Night time shift
• Excellent English Speaking Ability

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs85,000.00 per month
