We are looking for a Contract Engineer for one of our clients with the following details:

Location: UAE with Missions to Iraq

Start Date: June 2025

Contract Duration: 12 months, renewable

Scheme: Residential

Qualification And Experience Required

Professional Experience

• Minimum 10 years in project control roles in Oil and Gas projects.
  
  

Experience in similar position

• At least 5 years in a Contract Engineer position.
  
  

Technical Skills

• Expertise in Contracts-Purchases, Legal environment, SAP/UNISUP, Insurance, Taxation and Safety- Environment.
• Strong analytical skills for contractual aspects and claim management.
• Knowledge of risk management practices and earned value management techniques.
  
  

Level / Diploma

• Degree in Engineering, or lawyer.
  
  

Languages

• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
  
  

Missions & Activities

Main Missions

• Assist EIW & NWP Project Control Lead in the development of the various contractual strategies.
• Ensure regular reporting of its activities to the Project Control Lead
• Develop and maintain contractual requirements to monitor progress execution.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration of contractual aspects.
• Provide oversight and guidance on contractual tools, techniques, and best practices.
  
  

Key Activities

• Promote a strong Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) culture by ensuring that all contractual items are performed safely and in compliance with the company's HSE standards.
• Conduct regular reviews and audits of project contractual items to identify potential risks and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure the administration of current contract, including interfaces with technical teams.
• Support the preparation of contractual claims and change management processes.
• Ensure compliance with the rules established by the company & the Project relating to contractual procedures.
