Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Storekeeper with prior experience in the restaurant or F&B industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring proper storage and issuance of food and beverage items in compliance with hygiene and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and store all incoming food, beverage, and restaurant supplies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using manual logs or inventory management systems.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely replenishment.
  • Issue supplies and ingredients to kitchen and service staff as per requisition.
  • Ensure proper rotation of stock (FIFO/LIFO) to avoid spoilage and wastage.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and physical inventory counts.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the storage area as per food safety standards.
  • Track expiry dates and report near-expiry or damaged items.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and delivery personnel during goods receipt.
  • Prepare and submit daily/weekly stock reports to management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a storekeeper in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment.
  • Good knowledge of food storage standards, hygiene practices, and inventory procedures.
  • Familiarity with inventory software or ERP systems is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Basic computer literacy (Excel, inventory tracking systems).

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in restaurant or food service inventory management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,400.00 - AED1,800.00 per month
