We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented GIS Engineer with hands-on experience in preparing and submitting Infrastructure As-built drawings as per Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) GIS standards. The ideal candidate will be fully familiar with BAIANTEC_TEMPLATES, QC tools, data dictionaries, and the complete submission standards and workflow required by ADM for infrastructure and utility projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage as-built GIS submissions in accordance with Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) requirements and BAIANTEC_TEMPLATES.
• Convert CAD-based utility/as-built drawings into GIS-compliant formats (Shapefiles, Geodatabases) using proper spatial references (e.g., WGS84, Abu Dhabi Local Grid).
• Apply data dictionaries and ensure correct attribution of features per ADM's utility layer specifications.
• Perform QC checks using ADM-approved tools and processes to ensure accuracy, data integrity, and topology compliance before submission.
• Digitize and update GIS features for networks such as stormwater, sewerage, water, irrigation, street lighting, electrical, telecom, and other infrastructure utilities.
• Collaborate with survey, design, and CAD teams to ensure consistency and correctness across drawing layers and spatial data.
• Validate projection systems, metadata, feature naming, symbology, and layer structure according to submission standards.
• Ensure compliance with ADM's latest GIS data model and implement submission standards including folder structure, naming conventions, and metadata formats.
• Submit and follow up on GIS packages via the ADM eGIS Portal, respond to review comments, and revise datasets as needed.
• Maintain records of submission logs, feedback, and revisions for internal documentation and project tracking.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in GIS, Civil Engineering, Geography, Surveying, or a related discipline.

Minimum 3+ years of professional GIS experience, with at least 1–2 years working directly on ADM as-built GIS submissions.

Fully aware of BAIANTEC_TEMPLATES, ADM QC tools, GIS data dictionaries, and submission standards.

Strong command of QGIS, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and experience working with GIS integration tools and validation systems.

Familiar with ADM infrastructure symbology, utility data layers, and geospatial data attribution protocols.

Good organizational and communication skills to coordinate with internal project teams and government authorities.

Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain high standards of accuracy.
