We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tax Officer to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring tax compliance, preparing tax returns, and assisting in tax planning. The role requires a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, along with the ability to analyze financial data and provide accurate tax reports.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare tax payments
• Complete quarterly and annual tax reports
• Organize and update the company’s tax database
• Recommend tax strategies that align with business goals
• Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns
• Liaise with internal and external auditors
• Tax Management and regulatory compliance of tax reporting/returns

Assist tax Manager in day-to-day tasks such as:

• Preparation a filling of monthly STRs
• Preparation a filling of withholding statements
• Preparation & filling of annual ITRs, drafting replies to tax notices
• Preparation of tax files for tax audits
• Preparation of tax challans, Registration of individuals, Businesses with Tax & Custom Authorities
• Any other task assigned by management.

Skills:

• 2 years + experience in similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent accounting skills.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
