Job Purpose

The Middleware & API Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the middleware solutions and APIs that enable seamless communication and data exchange between various applications and systems. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient integration, optimal performance, and secure data transmission.

• Extensive experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and middleware components.
• Proficiency in API development using technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, or others.
• Strong understanding of API security protocols and authentication mechanisms (e.g., OAuth, JWT).
• Experience with API management platforms and tools (e.g., Swagger, Postman, API Gateway).
• Previous involvement in integrating diverse systems and applications.
• Proficient in programming languages commonly used in API development.
• Knowledge of integration patterns and message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
