Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Store Manager with 8-12 years of experience in the MEP Construction industry to oversee the operations of our store in the UAE. Possess a strong understanding of construction materials, tools, and equipment, and have a proven track record in managing stores within a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Oversee stock management, inventory control, and ensure that the store is well-stocked with required materials and equipment.
- Implement inventory control procedures to minimize losses and ensure accurate stock levels.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for procurement and timely delivery of construction materials.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and procurement orders.
- Supervise and train store staff, providing leadership and ensuring high standards of performance.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory guidelines in all store operations.
- Work closely with project managers and construction teams to fulfill material requirements for ongoing projects.
- Monitor and manage the store's budget, ensuring cost-efficiency and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Maintain good relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 8-12 years of relevant experience in store management within the MEP Construction industry.
- Location Experience: Must have experience working in the UAE and familiar with local market dynamics.
- Education: Degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics or Operations Management or MBA.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Other Requirements:
- Driving License: Valid UAE driving license is required.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
