Qualification & Experience:
Essential:
- Completed article ship with reputable CA firm with having 12 Years’ experience in Audit & Accounts.
Desirable:
- CA
- ACCA
- CIA
- CIMA/ICMA
- CA/ACCA Finalist
- Experience in Public Sector is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct day-to-day operations of the department in line with best practices, procedures and in compliance with NUST policies.
- Prepare and implement audit work plans.
- Ensure internal audit compliance in accordance to best practices including but not limited to Internal Audit standards.
- Aid in management decision making by furnishing weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual reports.
- Ensure due-diligence in technical & routine work.
- Ensure accurate PPRA implementation wherever applicable.
- Inter & intra departmental liaison for compliance as per policy and requirements.
- Provision of data if and when required along with summary and reports for management, Govt entities/funding agencies & other stakeholders.
- Review of Tax compliance.
- Assist external audit teams whenever required.
- To assist management in risk assessment, internal control development by identifying deficiencies and recommending improvements thereto.
- Any other task as assigned by management.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Essential:
- Proficient knowledge of Audit & Accounting Standards.
- Proficient knowledge of financial management and accounting practices, relevant legislation and financial policies and procedures (e.g: IIA, IFRS etc).
- Understanding of applicable Tax laws.
- Knowledge and on-hand experience in applicable PPRA rules.
- On-hand experience of ERP system such as Odoo (ERP).
- Good communication, written, interpersonal and analytical skills.
- General IT skills: Use of ERP systems (emphasis on financial modules/audit module), use of Microsoft office, email and Internet-based research.
- Ability to lead & manage a team.
- Commitment to Code of Ethics.
Desirable:
- Experience with Government funded Projects/Organizations.

Terms & Conditions:

- Medically unfit.
