Job Description

The job purpose is defined as below

1) Manage Applications and Systems support along with close coordination with team to deliver in-house development of reports and changes resulting in reduced or no IT and vendor cost to the business

2) Go-to champion for all core applications used by business with excellent working knowledge and understanding of systems, data and functional flow from front-office to middle-office to back-office to all the integrations with internal as well as external platforms

3) Manage and drive the business requirements covering new initiatives, projects, changes and enhancements.

4) Manage to reduce applications and systems cost, minimizing business cost and maximizing productivity and efficiency with notable return on investment as well as take ownership of projects budgets and ensure deliverables are withing planned timelines and cost.

5) Manage team to deliver IT and project requirements as per stakeholder needs

6) Manage and drive new initiatives and core application changes right from business requirements phase to workflow definitions to functions specifications to user acceptance, go-live and post go-live support

7) With strong business and applications knowledge, to ideate, initiate, drive and deliver improved efficiency and productivity through automation, process improvements, enhanced application features and translation of manual tasks to system tasks.


Main Tasks:


  • Manage the 1st level of support to business users covering application, systems, training, change management, reporting and new requirements.
  • Liaise with the Group IT platform for issue resolution and vendor escalations.
  • Ensure zero SLA breaches with Group IT
  • Relationship management with the Group IT platform as a service provider for the bank's Asset Management.
  • Drive change and enhancement requests for all applications used by the bank's Asset Management and the bank's capital KSA.
  • Provide technical and functional inputs to the changes to minimize external dependency and maximize business productivity.
  • Mange closely with team all cases/incidents raised with application support teams within Group IT and vendor and independently drive successful case discussion between users, internal application support and vendor support teams to ensure incidents and cases are successfully closed with either a permanent resolution or a workaround fix.
  • Research and train end-users on improved application functionality leading to reduced manual work, improved operational efficiency and enhanced productivity.

Team Management


Experience:

Bachelors in electronics/computer science/computer applications/information technology

Professional certifications

Strong business knowledge in asset management industry and understanding of products, procedures and processes.
