Assistant Manager Demand Planning
About the Role
This role will be primarily responsible for monitoring and managing SKU-level demand changes, promotions, and seasonality, monthly inventory planning and production schedules to mitigate stock out. Collaborate with cross-functional sales teams to develop and maintain demand forecasts, and report on metrics such as forecast accuracy and inventory turns. Analyze sales, inventory, and customer demand data using statistical tools to refine forecasts. Generate and share regular KPI reports, assist in preparing demand planning and inventory reports for management, and prepare annual price increase simulations. Collaborate with Sales, Customer Services, Production, and Warehousing for order execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering,, production planning for finished and Material Planning, preferably Supply chain particularly in Planning from recognized university.
- A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in Production (supply and demand) planning and forecast management.
- Prior work experience in maintaining inventory at various locations will be an added advantage.
- Impeccable English language skills.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation and analytical skills
- Proficient in MS Office and SAP (MM/SD module).
