We are seeking an experienced Data Analytics and CRM Head to lead our specialized data department and drive strategic decision-making through advanced analytics. As a function head reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for developing data and analytics capabilities across the agency while managing a skilled team in a matrix organizational structure. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with business acumen to transform data into actionable insights, shape measurement strategies and champion data automation and AI initiatives.

Team Structure

You will lead a specialized team consisting of data and analytics managers, data analysts and CRM experts.

Your team will have dotted-line reporting relationships with client leads in a matrix organizational structure. You may potentially share P&L responsibilities with client leads.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership
• Develop and implement the agency's data and analytics strategy
• Report directly to the General Manager, participating in executive decision-making
• Shape measurement strategies for clients and the agency
• Potentially share P&L responsibilities with client leads
• Lead a specialized data team while managing matrix reporting relationships

• Client Services & Stakeholder Management
• Lead senior stakeholder engagements and pitch presentations
• Align data strategies with client business objectives
• Step in to lead and support client relationships as needed
• Translate complex data insights into compelling data stories
• Drive smart reporting and insights delivery

• Technical Leadership
• Guide analytics tools and technology implementation
• Support cross-functional teams (Performance Marketing, SEO, UI/UX)
• Champion data automation and AI initiatives
• Oversee Google Cloud services implementation and optimization
• Design and implement experimentation frameworks

• Service Development
• Develop new data and analytics product offerings
• Prepare comprehensive proposals for data services
• Drive innovation within existing service lines
• Identify opportunities to expand service capabilities
• Build business cases for new data initiatives

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence or related roles
• 3+ years in a leadership position managing data teams
• Strong experience with analytics tools and technology implementation
• Proven experience managing matrix teams and cross-functional collaboration
• Experience with Google Cloud services
• Background in experimentation and optimization methodologies
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability as a data storyteller

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in data and analytics
• Hands-on experience in digital analytics implementation
• Track record of industry engagement via events and thought leadership
• Strong background in proposal preparation and service offering development
• Experience guiding Performance Marketing, SEO, and UI/UX teams
• Knowledge of the MENA region market
• Experience with CDPs and data pipeline development

Technical Skills

• Google Analytics 4 and Google Marketing Platform
• Google Cloud Platform services
• Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
• Working knowledge of SQL, Python and Javascript
• Experience with tag management systems
• Familiarity with CRO tools and methodologies
• Understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, PDPL)
• CDP implementation and management
