AI Engineer

We’re currently partnered with a leading technology consultancy who are scaling their tech team. They offer a diverse work environment that provide services in the UAE impacting millions of lives. We're currently helping them search for an AI Engineer to join their ever growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and refine NLP and LLM models for various applications such as chatbots, customer support automation, and AI-driven assistance tools.
• Conduct research and run experiments to push the boundaries of NLP and LLM capabilities.
• Gather, clean, and structure large-scale datasets for training and evaluating models.
• Apply data augmentation strategies to enhance model robustness and generalisation.
• Deploy and manage NLP and LLM models in production environments, ensuring stability, efficiency, and scalability.
• Develop APIs and services to integrate these models seamlessly into various applications.
• Partner with software engineers, data scientists, and subject matter experts to deliver customised NLP solutions.
• Offer mentorship and technical guidance to junior colleagues.
• Implement logging and monitoring solutions to track model performance and reliability.
• Continuously evaluate and fine-tune models using feedback and new data.
• Maintain clear and detailed documentation of methodologies, experiments, and results.
• Present insights and updates to stakeholders through reports and presentations.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in NLP, LLM, and AI research.
• Contribute to the enhancement of team workflows, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications & skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-6 years experience in a similar role
• Proven track record with Computer Vision frameworks and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Tesseract, and OpenCV.
• Experience integrating AI models into production workflows, including cloud-based deployments.
