Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Android Developer to support our mobile application development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in Android development, strong coding abilities, and a proactive mindset. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to the evolution of our mobile architecture, and help deliver high-quality applications. As a key team member, you’ll also have opportunities to share knowledge and support junior developers as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform (Kotlin/Java).
- Work with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend teams to shape features, ensure seamless integration, and deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices.
- Stay updated with Android development trends and integrate the latest technologies and tools to ensure our applications stay ahead of the curve.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1- 3 years of proven experience in Android app development.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.
- Solid understanding of Android SDK, UI/UX standards, and design patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVP).
- Experience with Android Jetpack libraries (e.g., ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation).
- Familiarity with third-party libraries and APIs (e.g., Retrofit, Glide).
- Experience with Git version control.
- Understanding of mobile app security best practices.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
