Job Description

Job Purpose **

To oversee and ensure the successful execution of construction projects and managing the ongoing maintenance of facilities for our restaurant and coffee shop locations. You will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in line with design specifications. This role also involves maintaining the operational efficiency and readiness of our locations to provide exceptional experience for both customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management: Lead construction and renovation projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

Facilities Management: Oversee daily operations and maintenance of our restaurant and coffee shop facilities, ensuring optimal functionality and a safe environment.

Design Oversight: Collaborate with design teams to create efficient, functional, and aesthetically pleasing layouts for new and renovated locations.

Budget Management: Develop and track project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining high quality.

Team Leadership: Manage and mentor project managers, contractors, and design teams to ensure smooth execution of projects.

Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and zoning laws.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within the restaurant, hospitality, or retail industries.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, facility management, and design principles.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and budgets are adhered to.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, AutoCAD).
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and solve complex problems.

Working Conditions

  • The position may require travel to different construction sites.
  • Some weekend or evening work may be required to ensure projects remain on schedule.
  • Occasional physical activity may be required for site visits.
