Job Title: Procurement Officer - Purchasing Civil
Location: Abu Dhabi
Salary: AED 5,000 - 7,000 per month

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Officer with a focus on Civil purchasing to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of procurement experience in the construction sector, specializing in civil materials, equipment, and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the procurement of civil materials, equipment, and services for construction projects.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, quality products, and on-time delivery.
• Prepare and process procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and RFQs (Request for Quotations).
• Coordinate closely with project managers and engineers to ensure procurement activities align with project schedules and budgets.
• Track and monitor deliveries to ensure timely arrival and quality control of materials.
• Maintain and build relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and relevant local regulations.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, invoices, and delivery schedules.
• Assist in resolving procurement-related issues and improving procurement processes.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years focused on civil materials and services within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of civil materials, equipment, and construction services.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of UAE procurement laws and construction industry standards.
