Job Description
We are launching an exciting new product that will transform how our merchants operate within our ecosystem. To ensure successful adoption, we’re looking for a proactive and strategic Training Manager to lead the development and delivery of training programs for our merchant partners and their staff.
In this role, you will create and manage training materials, coordinate closely with product and tech teams to stay aligned with updates, and oversee the onboarding and training experience for merchants. As our ecosystem grows, you will also play a key role in building and scaling the training function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, create, and continuously update training materials tailored for merchants and their staff
- Translate product updates into clear, actionable training resources (videos, manuals, workshops, etc.)
- Collaborate with product and tech teams to stay current with product changes and new feature rollouts
- Lead and oversee the training and onboarding of new merchants and their teams
- Act as the main point of contact for any training-related questions or concerns from merchants
- Measure training effectiveness and continuously improve learning experiences
- Scope, recruit, and manage a training team as the business scales
- Maintain consistency and quality in training delivery across regions and merchant segments
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in training, instructional design, onboarding, or customer education
- Strong understanding of digital products, ideally in a platform-based ecosystem
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Ability to translate technical product information into user-friendly training content
- Experience working cross-functionally with product, tech, and customer-facing teams
- Proven ability to manage multiple training rollouts simultaneously
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, startup-style environment
- Bonus: Experience in merchant services, retail tech, or marketplace platforms
- Can speak and understand Arabic & English is a must
