Job Description

To work as a team member to assist shift and General shift maintenance activities as per the per job requirement / Instructions given by his superior - Foreman / Supervisor. Report to his supervisor the findings and issues.
To apply acquired skills to the best of his abilities
To work with personal safety & the safety of others. Safety being the 1st priority
Professional Competencies: He should have hands on experience of shift maintenance. Able to Carry-out shift jobs like hose, Panel, delta, Burner, gearbox, pumps, cylinders, valves, roller, replacement repairing and assembly, with multiple skill he should be able to weld. Perform preventative maintenance as per PM plan of melt shop equipment having Electric arc furnace (EAF) and auxiliary equipment’s. Experience of working during break down and shut down maintenance. Experience of Lok out, tag out. Work permit. Knowledge on 5S.
To understand and follow the organizational HS&E policies.
To follow safety instructions related to their jobs, SOP if any.
To report damaged PPE, unsafe machines or equipment to concerned staff.
To keep the provided PPEs in good, workable conditions.
To avoid any horseplay and abuse of safety devices, equipment and welfare facilities.
To report any accidents, near misses or hazardous conditions to concerned responsible.
To attend safety trainings planned.
Having a right to say "NO" to any unsafe work.
