Job Description

To carry out Electrical/ AC Maintenance, Fault finding and Installation work within the Factory to site and internationally accepted standards. To adhere to company policies and work in manner promoting the safety of other employees at all times.

Major Responsibilities & Duties performed:

  • Carry out Air Conditions work within the designated area of responsibility and personal ability, in a safe and consensus manor as directed by immediate Supervisor / Foreman.
  • Use appropriate personal protective Equipment (PPE) as required for the task.
  • Take the necessary action to keep safe and in good condition tools and equipment provided.
  • Preparation for Preventive maintenance on unscheduled program.
  • Report all Equipment or process demand not to be functioning correctly to immediate Foreman.
  • Review plant Equipment and operating manuals on a regular basis.
  • Keep working area clean and tidy.
  • Ask permission from immediate Foreman prior to disabling any safety interlocks.
  • Report to Foreman all work activities carried out during maintenance activities.
  • Keep regular and punctuality.
  • Housekeeping and cooperation to subordinates.
  • To understand and follow the organizational HS&E policies.
  • To follow safety instructions related to their jobs.
  • To report damaged PPE, unsafe machines or equipment to concerned staff.
  • To keep the provided PPEs in good, workable conditions.
  • To avoid any horseplay and abuse of safety devices, equipment and welfare facilities.
  • To report any accidents, near misses or hazardous conditions to concerned responsible.
  • To attend safety trainings planned for them.
  • Having a right to say "NO" to any unsafe work.
