Job Purpose:

The website administrator will be responsible for managing, maintaining and optimizing the company's websites to ensure seamless functionality, security, and user experience. the role includes overseeing SEO strategies, implementing web development best practices and collaborating with marketing and IT teams to enhance website performance and digital presence.

Key duties:

1. Manage and maintain company websites, ensuring they are updated secure and optimized for performance.

2. Develop, implement and monitor SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic

3. Optimize website structure, content and technical elements for SEO best practices

4. Implement content updates, design changes and feature enhancements as needed.

5. Develop and enhance website functionality using front-end and back-end technologies.

6. Monitor website traffic, performance metrics and user engagement to identify areas for improvement

7. Ensure website security by regularly updating software, plugins and security protocols.

8. Collaborate with designers, developers and content to improve user experience and accessibility

9. Integrate third-party tools, API's and digital marketing assets (Google analytics, Facebook Pixel, etc)

10. Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, including broken links, loading errors, and responsiveness problems

11. Manage website hosting, domain renewals and backups to prevent downtime or data loss

12. Optimize websites for speed, mobile-friendliness, and technical SEO.

13. Support e-commerce or booking system integrations if applicable.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Web Development, Digital Marketing or a related field
• Proven experience in website administration, SEO and web development.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, Java script and CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress, Drupal)
• Knowledge of bank-end technologies such as PHP, Python, or Node.js is a plus
• Expertise in SEO tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and keyword research strategies.
• Experience with website analytics, performance optimization and UX/UI improvements.
• Knowledge of security best practices for website management.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
