Job Objective: The Analyst - Programmer is responsible to analyze needs, write and test web-based, desktop and mobile applications, with the aim to enable the design and development of applications that meet business requirements. The incumbent is also responsible to maintain each of the assigned applications.

Main Responsibilities:

Operational:

• Collaborate with applications teams and business analysts to confirm business requirements and develop appropriate technical specifications.
• Translate designs and specifications into functioning code in the appropriate language.
• Test codes on a regular basis to ensure it produces the desirable results and to identify and implement modifications and/or enhancements to meet objectives.
• Conduct unit and integration testing prior to the launch of web-based, desktop and mobile applications.
• Analyze and recommend modifications to current applications to keep them operating in an efficient and effective manner.
• Develop basis prototypes and communicate to applications teams.
• Support IT project team in the execution of projects as and when needed.
• Provide level 2 and level 3 support to programming-related issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure consistency with system requirements and adherences to development standards and conventions.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required e.g. Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information System.
• Full English proficiency is required.
• Advanced computer literacy is required e.g. MS Office, Banner, Java, C++., PL/SQL, Microsoft ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript.

Experience:

• Minimum of three years of relevant work experience in Information Technology with a focus on programming.
