<p>
The job incumbent shall bring in the experience in system engineering related to CubeSat (1U-3U) and shall take over the technical project management of the first CubeSat project and shall lead the engineering activities along with an industrial partner which shall support HCT in the first project. The job incumbent shall play a pivotal role in developing a space technology roadmap for the short and long term and engage in related projects. The job incumbent shall need to demonstrate deep commitment and passion to work with the students and aspire them on space technologies.</p><br>

<div><div><p>Main Responsibilities:</p>
<div>
1) Strategic Role:<br>
<ul><li>Think beyond short term objectives to consider the broader vision and strategic goals of HCT.
</li><li>Support in cascading the overall functional strategy into operational goals.</li><li>Facilitate the achievement of strategic objectives by allocating resources and focusing the efforts of the team.</li></ul></div>
<div>
2) Operational Role:<br>
<ul><li>Support the industry partner to transfer knowledge of CubeSat to students - CubeSat technologies, decompose satellite mission requirements into mechanical, hardware and software requirements.
</li><li>Work with faculties and industry partners to develop basic education materials to be used in CubeSat projects.</li><li>Work with the students to conduct by mentoring the following activities:</li><li>Plan and manage spacecraft integration and testing activities at local industry partner facility.
</li><li>Assess the implementation of in-house technologies on-board the satellite bus.
</li><li>Integrate basic payload and COTS components into satellite bus.
</li><li>Identify candidate COTS parts and conduct trade-off in component selection.
</li><li>Prepare spacecraft system-level documentation.
</li><li>Prepare CubeSat for design review and launch acceptance.
</li><li>Support students to present the work in educational and CubeSat conferences.
</li><li>Support the development of a roadmap to focus on the buildup of technological capabilities in space/CubeSat technologies.
</li><li>Perform any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor to meet the business needs</li></ul></div>

3) Leadership Role:

<ul><li>Demonstrate ability to work independently.
</li><li>Tailor activities to the development needs of subordinates and provide guidance on how to perform tasks.
</li><li>Provide subordinates the support they need to succeed and allow them to take responsibility for the results.</li><li>Actively and effectively listen to others and help them resolve issues or overcome difficulties.</li><li>Use appropriate situational leadership style depending on individual ability and the task to be accomplished e.g. directing, coaching, supporting, and delegating.</li><li>Contribute in an effective and efficient manner to the development of UAE Nationals.</li></ul></div>

4) Qualifications:<br>
<ul><li>A minimum of a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical or similar
</li></ul>engineering fields from a recognized university,

<ul><li>Full English proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking) required.
</li><li>Knowledge of Arabic would be an advantage</li></ul></div>

5) Experience:<br>
<ul><li>A minimum of 5 years of previous experience with the design and integration of CubeSats or
</li></ul>small/microsats.
<br>
<ul><li>Experienced with systems engineering, designing, implementing and/or testing CubeSat hardware.

To provide effective instruction in general Faculty subjects and in at least two or more specific areas of the assigned program/discipline to the second language learners within a student-centric learning environment that fosters respect for students, their culture, and their traditions. To actively participate in academic and extra-curricular events at the College and within the community.</p>
<p>
Main Responsibilities:</p>
<ul>
<li>Contribute to the implementation of HCT&rsquo;s system-wide strategy.</li>
<li>Assist with the development and preservation of system-wide and Faculty/Division-specific policies.</li>
<li>Participate in the academic and extra-curricular events at the College and within the community.</li>
<li>Engage in applied research relevant to the Division&rsquo;s interest and the national innovation agenda and its targeted priority sectors.</li>
<li>Use a practical, applied approach and teach courses that are in line with course syllabus and program goals to meet the needs and aspirations of the students and the community.</li>
<li>Develop and utilize various educational technology resources to ensure that effective and innovative instruction methodologies are employed.</li>
<li>Apply strategies to ensure that effective student learning is achieved within a second-language environment, providing continuous feedback on student progress through a variety of assessment tools, including tests, projects, assignments and other evaluation instruments.</li>
<li>Take a student-centered approach, providing students with individual assistance, and dealing promptly with student issues by liaising directly with the student, program supervisor and other College personnel as required.</li>
<li>Apply strategies to ensure effective student learning, provide continuous feedback and monitor student progress and take action to support student success.</li>
<li>Evaluate students and timely update grades.</li>
<li>Contribute to question banks and/or coursework assessments as requested.</li>

<li>Serve as student advisor as assigned.</li>

<li>Prepare electronic Course Assessment Files (eCAF) and Course Assessment Reports (CAR) for the taught courses.</li>
<li>Handle at least one system-wide course management in terms of content management, assessment development, course evaluation and review.</li>
<li>Contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching, learning, assessment and quality assurance as per the HCT Program Continuous Improvement Framework.</li>
<li>Participate in the revision of courses and curricula.</li>
<li>Invigilate both internal and externally administered assessments as assigned.</li>
